The Bathers Pavilion Cafe @ Mosman

This cafe quite surprisingly serves really nice and well presented meals. Their service and ambience was definitely friendly and comfortable so I was able to have a lovely night.

We ordered 2 whites and 1 Chianti (Italy) which were alright and complimented the food nicely. This is the hand cut linguine which looks quite immaculate. I swear other cafes don’t serve dishes with such elegance like this!   This chicken breast was cooked perfectly well and was so tender! I absolutely love the cauliflower purée which went so nicely with the chicken! I wanted more!

Fresh John Dory with lemon and oil and almond romesco 33 with risotto, warm dill potatoes or leaf salad
Spring Bay Tasmanian mussels in white wine, garlic, cream, parsley with wedges and salad
Quattro formaggi pizza with gorgonzola dolce, assiago, mozzarella and fontina

Out of the 2 desserts we had, I loved the apple tart the best! The lime creme brûlée was too sweet for my liking which I could say the same for the macaron.

Apple frangipane tart with calvados sauce and vanilla ice cream

Overall, this place is great for the multi-million dollar view of the sea in addition to their friendly service. A wonderful atmosphere and popular place for local diners.
